Second instalment, Week One
Well, my friends, one week of writing has passed and I am proud to report that I am on track to complete 50,000 words by month’s end.
I will tell you that it was not simple or easy. When I started this commitment, I failed to realize that the election was on the 3rd, I got all caught up in the election night tv drama and didn’t get to sleep until after midnight.
Needless to say, I was a tired puppy.
Then, Saturday, the 7th is my anniversary. Now I “knew” this well in advance naturally. So, no big deal except yea I didn’t really think about the impact it would have on the day and evening. I am happy to announce though, I was successful, and I am still married.
I enjoy the challenge that November brings with NaNoWriMo. I challenge all of you to consider the good that establishing a regular writing time and a word count goal can bring.
