Backup Plan

When things go south

Not many of us had a backup plan. The power went out, no lights, heat, internet, tv, after a week or two when you could no longer purchase gas, you couldn’t charge your phone in your car anymore so no more phones. Supermarket shelves were bare, pantries were empty, people were dying.

I remember my pop telling us to have a backup plan. I knew better but never put things in order. Now people were desperate, dying, and killing.

Government authorities were establishing safe zones, the safest of the zones being where they were.

It didn’t look too good for the home team.
